Plenty big enough for my fluffy king size down comforter. There were ties on all the interior corners of the duvet so it doesn't bunch up. The buttons have survived the first two washes (though it would be an easy fix if they do pop off like some of the other reviews state). The texture of the fabric is more like a linen, which I prefer instead of a sateen feel. It looks and feels expensive! Very pleasantly surprised and would recommend.

This is my second purchase of this exact duvet cover for another king bed. I also own two other Queen versions. It comes with extra buttons! The ties in the corners are a loop, so you'll need to cut it in half and seal the ends. I cut off the bottom loops because the fabric holds the duvet in place very well with only the top ties tied. Don't iron it should have a natural look to it. Like all duvet covers they ball up in the dryer, shake it out every 10 minutes and it will look great. I dry it on high heat and it doesn't shrink. I love that the shams look like pillow cases with the added detail of the buttons. I've washed it now about 20 times and it comes out looking great. Stains come out easily, use a laundry bar on stains and scrub it a bit under warm water. If needed treat with oxyclean, I personally never use sprays due to the additional chemicals and smell they have. Little tip to ensure the buttons stay, put a little dab of liquid super glue on the threads that hold the buttons on. I've always done this and never had a button fall off. Remember to also seal the ends of the ties after you cut them to keep them from coming apart.
This is a wonderful high quality set. The fabric is soft and very natural feeling. The buttons add to the great classic look. I’m so pleased with this purchase. I purchased the king size for our queen bed. It is exactly the hang over I wanted. I washed it before using it. It required ironing but has remained comfortably wrinkled since using it. I spray with Downy Wrinkle Release and stretch if gets wrinkled overnight.
I highly recommend this duvet set. I want to purchase another but not sold on my color options. If you see a good color match I’d recommend going for it. It’s such a classy, high quality look.
